For women: Lehengas, Anarkalis, or any fun, festive dress you love. A little sparkle is welcome!

For men: Kurta-pajamas, sherwanis, or suit. Bold colors are a plus.

Think vibrant, festive, and ready to dance!

Both men, women and kids, Sikh or non-Sikh, must cover their heads inside the Gurdwara (Sikh Temple) with a scarf, handkerchief, or turban. Head coverings will be provided if needed.

Non-Sikh men should not wear a turban. Instead, a handkerchief is more appropriate. Please see the examples above for head coverings inside the Gurdwara. We will provide head coverings at the Gurdwara for men and women if needed.

Avoid white and black colors. Vibrant and bright colors are encouraged!

Make sure you wear something comfortable, as you’ll have to sit cross-legged on the floor for quite a while.

For women:

Women can wear a salwar kameez. This traditional attire consists of a long, flowing top (kameez), wide-legged trousers (salwar), and scarf (chunni). Most Indian womenswear comes with a chunni.

If you prefer something more familiar, ensure your outfit covers your body modestly. Opt for a maxi dress with leggings that avoids revealing too much skin.

For men:

Men can wear a kurta pajama. This is a simple and classic option that consists of a long tunic (kurta) paired with loose-fitting trousers (pajama).

If you prefer something more familiar, comfortable dress pants and a dress shirt is perfectly acceptable.

For kids:

Similar attire as men and women.
